Rafael Torre appointed TPASC's new Managing Director

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre we are pleased to announce the appointment of Rafael Torre as Managing Director of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, effective Monday, July 27, 2026.

Rafael has been an integral part of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre leadership team for more than a decade. He joined the Centre in 2014 as Director of Sport and Recreation, a role he held until 2025, leading the development and delivery of high-quality sport and recreation programs while fostering strong relationships with our partners and community.

In May 2025, Rafael was promoted to Senior Director, Sport Leadership, Operations and Programming, where he assumed broader leadership responsibilities across the organization. Since January 2026, he has served as Acting Managing Director, providing steady leadership and guidance while continuing to advance our strategic priorities.
